Course in Photography

Teachers of Luxardo Gallery

Tiziana Luxardo: international photographer for cinema, fashion, politics and star system. Tiziana has focused her artistic research on the body, in particular on the nude male, leaving an important mark in the Italian culture revolution, thanks to her undisputed talent.

Eva Clausen: art historian and critic, she works as journalist for international newspapers. Since 2004 she has been the artistic director of Luxardo Gallery, she has published several works and she has been the curator of important art exhibitions, both in galleries and in other locations.

Mimmo Frassineti: photographer and free-lance journalist. His reportages have been published in the main Italian and foreign newspapers, such as “La Stampa”,”La Repubblica”,”The Time”,”The New York Times”, “Archeo” and “National Geographic”. In 1976 he founded with colleagues the “A.G.F.” (“Journalists and Photographers Agency”) that has imposed itself as one of most preminent photo-journalistic agency in Italy.

Sandro Fogli: professional photographer, director and author of video-documentaries. He has organized and directed "Raccolta Multimedia", a bookshop and gallery dedicated to photography and to new digital technologies.

Carlo Pettinelli: photographer. He has managed many advertising campains; he has also collaborated with major publications such as L’Espresso,Panorama, Specchio, Left, Avvenimenti, Glamuor, Volare, Playboy Mexico and with the publisher company De Agostini.

Andrea Papi: specialized at Vison Photo Agency in Rome. His works have been published by Invidia Magazine, Vogue Sposa, Overview and by art, fashion and design free magazines. .

Yosuke Taki: photographer and artist. .

Romolo Belvedere: his photographic experience spans from theatre,to cinema. As a coauthor he has won a prestigious award at the Festival of Norimberga with the multivision “Otello”(1994).. He partecipated in collective and solo exhibition in different locations, such as Palazzo Altieri, Art Gallery in Copenhagen and the National Library in Rome.

Raffaella Gentile: photographer, she worked with Zoneattive, the Town Council of Rome and “FotoGrafia - International Festival” in Rome. Her works have been displayed by the “ Museum of Contemporary Photography ”, in Cinisello Balsamo (Milan).

Pierluigi Piredda: photographer and photography director for movies and videos. He works through traditional techniques such as medium format film and daylight. He partecipated in collective and solo exhibitions.

Laura Fanti: she collaborates with several universities and she works with galleries and museums as the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome (GNAM) or the Centre for Contemporary Art of Luigi Pecci in Prato. She has organized exhibitions of young artists and she has written articles for art magazines.

Paolo Ciofetta: photographer and studio assistant for Luxardo Studio.

Traditional Italian music course in RomeAlessandro Parente: teacher at Scuola Popolare di Musica di Testaccio. Moreover, he is the founder and leader of Piccola Orchestra La Viola, an orchestra which has been working for years on the recovery of Italian folk culture. He and his orchestra have collaborated with Peppe Barra, Daniele Sepe and Hector Ulises Passarella in memory of “Colavrè e le Sere Cantate”, Angelo Branduardi–Franco Battiato in the CD “L’infinitamente piccolo” by Angelo Branduardi, music by Alessandro Parente; Solis String Quartet ed Ellade Bandini in the CD “Il Cavaliere delle Dolomiti”; Riccardo Tesi ,Lino Cannavacciuolo, Vincenzo Zitello e Piero Ricci in the show “Gli amici di Ivano ”; Mohssen Kasirossafar in the concert “Radici di memoria”; Massimo Carrano in the show dedicated to “Shri Mataji”; Alfio Antico in the concert “Radici del suono”; Eugenio Barba ”Odin Teatret”; Pino Di Buduo “Teatro Potlach” ; Riccardo Tesi and Massimo Carrano in the show “La voce della memoria".
