The study abroad programme offered by the Leonardo da Vinci school allows American students to earn Italian language credits. All Leonardo da Vinci schools work together with the New York State University in New Paltz, with Edgewood College (Madison, WI) and with Santa Barbara city College (CA). Students that attend our courses can receive credit from these schools. These institutions are widely recognized in the USA, and so these credits can be transferred to the majority of American colleges and universities.
First step: contact your own tutor and check whether your college or your tutor accepts transferral of credits from one of these institutions. If the response is positive, download our enrollment form (PDF or DOC format) and send it to the Leonardo da Vinci school in Rome by fax or in the post.

Another very important document: the school requires official transcripts of colleges or universities from the USA or a confirmation by a high school, signed by the Principal / Head of the school. The transcript must be sent directly from the institution to the Rome school and it is not considered official if sent from a different part or body than this institution.
In addition we ask you to enroll at one of our centers (Rome, Florence, Milan or Siena). Together with this, it is necessary to send us the amount of 70 euros (registration fee). After receiving the confirmation email, the school must receive the full amount at least 21 days before the start of the course.
We ask you to please understand that our schools and Edgewood College cannot accept your request without receiving the full payment on time.
At the end of the course, the school will present Edgewood College with the enrollment documents, information about the courses and the ability level of the students, together with the fee owed to Edgewood College. The marks awarded will be registered as a report card by Edgewood College and will be included in the calculation of grade-point averages.
