CHRISTMAS TRADITION AND LANGUAGE COURSE IN MILAN AND ROME

Christmas in Italy: Italian culture and traditions

The Christmas season in Italy lasts for three weeks: it starts 8 days before Christmas and ends on the Epiphany Celebration (January 6th). This time of the year is called "La Novena"

Christmas is the most important holiday in Italy, and its celebration is a great tradition all over the country.

To get in touch with the spirit of the Italian way of celebrating Christmas and to share Italian traditions with other students, the Italian language schools Leonardo da Vinci in Milan and Rome have developed a "Christmas special course" for those who would like to discover the typical Italian Christmas.

10:45 - 12:15 “How to decorate your home during Christmas time”.

Tuesday 15 december 2009
09:00 - 10:30 Italian language lessons.
10:30 - 10:45 Coffee break.
10:45 - 12:15 “How to set your table for Christmas lunch”.
15:00 - 18:00 Guided visits to typical shops for Christmas home design.

10:45 - 12:15 “Preparing Christmas lunch/dinner from A to Z”.
